Everyone should have received a renewal notification from BSA or Scouting America. You can follow the link in the email or go to my.scouting.org and login. Choose My Application and follow the instructions to renew. You will need to renew all adults that are registered leaders and scouts in your family. The cost of renewal is $85 for scouts and $65 for adult leaders (plus a couple dollars for credit card fee). This registration process is for your BSA/Scouting America national dues.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Scouting for Food! We boxed 27 large boxes (gaylords) and 46 small boxes of donated food at Mehlville Station 3.

The Citizenship in the Community merit badge is required for the Eagle Rank. Mr. Marsek will offer a special workshop for scouts in Troop 580 to help them earn this merit badge on December 23rd at 12:30 - 4:30 PM at Grants View Library. To actually earn the Merit Badge that day scouts will need to complete the following prerequisites. Please note that requirement 7c asks the scout to complete 8 hours of service with an organization. This needs to be something different than your rank service hours and should be for an organization that you are interested in (Please read below for the specifics)
THIS Requires 2 different sessions -- one inside (at Beaumont) and one at Hidden Valley Ski Resort. Please look at details here for all the information and to register: https://scoutingevent.com/312-90662
